CDTC Trail Days 2021 - Where the Trail and Climate Intersect

PCT Days, the now defunct ADZPCTKO, the ALDHA Gathering… there are some events in the hiker community that are hard to imagine in a virtual context. But this year, Continental Divide Trail Coalition managed to pull off a fun and informative Trail Days series of online events — and Hike the Divide got to be part of it! For “Hike the Divide: Where the Trail and Climate Intersect,” Cassie and I cut together a quick 15minute teaser, which CDTC shared out a week in advance. Next, I got to invite Kendra Pinto and Madeleine Carey (if you don’t know those names, you should go watch the film!) to join me and Allie Ghaman and Lauren Hendricks of CDTC for a conversation about how conservation and climate action relate to the CDT.
